INDIANAPOLIS, Ind (April 15, 2015)-  A criminal and internal investigation is underway inside the Marion County Jail.

A picture has recently surfaced of the man who pleaded guilty to killing four people back in 2014.

The photo of Kenneth “Cody” Rackemann appears to have been taken behind bars and now jail administrators are trying to figure out how it happened.  He might never walk free again, but that apparently hasn't stopped him from communicating with the outside.

Although Rackemann accepted a plea deal, he is still inside the Marion County Jail and  awaiting sentencing.

The photo shows Rackemann smiling from inside his cell at the Marion County Jail.  The picture even made its way to Facebook.

His hands are visible in the photo and it looks like he didn't take the picture himself.  Meaning, someone else snapped the photo.  The question is who took it and how did it end up on the internet.

Rackemann and three others were arrested and charged for conspiring to rob a man of drugs and money.  Four people were killed in the process.

Rackemann will receive four consecutive  life sentences without parole and an additional 20 years for robbery. He will be formally sentenced next week.
