Ted Cruz to attend Indiana GOP Spring Dinner in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 15, 2016) –Ted Cruz just became the first presidential candidate to officially make plans to visit Indiana. Sen. Cruz will attend Indiana GOP’s Spring Dinner next Thursday, April 21.

The Republican presidential candidate will join Governor Mike Pence and Keynote speaker Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin at Primo’s Banquet & Conference Center.

“We have offered invitations to all of the presidential candidates, and we are honored that Sen. Ted Cruz has accepted the invitation,” said Indiana Republican Party Chairman Jeff Cardwell. “This election cycle has put Indiana in a historic spot and we are ready for an exciting year.”

The VIP reception starts at 5:30 p.m. with dinner to follow at 6:30 p.m. Individual tickets are $150 and college Republicans can purchase tickets for $50. You can find more information here.

Although Sen. Cruz is the first to announce plans to visit the Hoosier state, he most won’t be the only candidate. Donald Trump is expected to announce plans to visit soon.
