INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Armed robbers struck at an Indianapolis Taco Bell Sunday morning, holding workers and a family of five at gunpoint.

According to an incident report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched around 11:40 a.m. to the Taco Bell located at 6990 E. 10th St.

Five employees and a family of five were inside the restaurant when three armed suspects walked into the business; two of them were armed with handguns. The men ordered everyone to get on the floor, the report said.

One of the men told the family, which included children ages 11, 12 and 13–to empty their pockets and then took their money. The suspects ran out of the business and climbed into a white, four-door car (possibly an Impala) before heading west on 10th Street.
