MUNCIE, Ind. — The Delaware County Sheriff’s SWAT team raided an active meth lab at a home in Muncie around 10 a.m. Thursday.

Deputies say it was the second raid at the home in the 1400 block of West 16th Street this year, for the manufacture and sale of methamphetamine.

The raid stemmed from a search warrant issued after several purchases of meth were made at the home by undercover drug taskforce officers.

Jason Smith, 36, was arrested as a result of the raid.

Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Team responded to the scene to dismantle and clean up the active lab.
