Spotty showers linger this morning as a stubborn, slow moving upper-low churns toward the eastern coast! The wind flow from the northwest isn't helping either, adding a chill to what is already a wet start. As the day progresses, rain chances will slowly diminish from west to east. Sunshine will slowly build in, as temperatures steadily climb back into the lower 60s. Another day below average but getting better!
Skies clear tonight, as rain chances leave the eastern part of the state. Plenty of sunshine returning Friday, marking the best day of the week! Heading into the weekend, storms could be the headline by late Saturday afternoon and early evening. Before storms arrive, as promised, the Mini-Marathon looks great but warming quickly! Could get pretty uncomfortable while working your way through the IMS track by 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
