Grab the umbrella! This Monday will start out wet with more showers and isolated storms expected at times this afternoon! The Gulf of Mexico's moisture is surging north and instability with associated front nearby will keep things active on through much of the week. Some days will have a greater chance of rain and storms then others, so be sure to look at percentages on the extended forecast below.

The threat of severe weather looks very low today locally, as the stronger storms will be positioned near the triple point (where the low, warm front and cold front reside within close proximity) in the central plains, much like over this past weekend.
