FORT WORTH, TX – A group of students at Joshua High School in Fort Worth, Texas are getting national attention for an extremely thoughtful gift to their teacher.

Last week, Mrs. Andrews’ 16-year-old cat named Blondie passed away. Rachel Hanhart told FOX59 that her math teacher was devastated, and Hanhart and her classmates Ashlei Mahan and Sheridan Swindel wanted to do something to cheer her up.

So on Friday, they brought her cupcakes and balloons and KITTENS!

In the heartwarming video, Mrs. Andrews asks, “Are those for me?” Mrs. Andrews was hysterical, and she burst into tears.

The students’ kind act has received over 60,000 retweets and 96,000 likes since it was posted on Twitter Friday.
