Tip about sexually explicit conversations involving children leads to two arrests in child molesting case

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.—A man and woman were arrested on child molesting charges today following an investigation into a complaint received by the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Department.

David Hindsley, 30, was arrested on two felony counts of child molesting and one count of conspiracy to commit child molesting.

Nicole Leffert, 25, was arrested on one count of felony child molesting and one count of conspiracy to commit child molesting.

Both Hindsley and Leffert were arrested at their residences in the Point West Mobile Home Park in West Lafayette.

Authorities say the investigation began after officials received a complaint regarding sexually explicit conversations involving children between Hindsley and Leffert.

No bond was set at the time of their arrests.
