INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – A mother duck and her ducklings are alive and well thanks to an IndyGo driver.

On Monday morning, the ducklings were trying to cross busy 86th Street. An IndyGo paratransit service driver saw what was going on, so he parked the IndyGo vehicle in the turn lane, flipped on his emergency flashers, and ran after the ducks.

Fortunately, because of his help all of the ducks safely crossed the road.

Laura Gardner recorded the kind act while sitting at a stoplight across the street, and she posted it to her Facebook page.
