LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Police in Lafayette arrested a 14-year-old boy following a robbery this week at a CVS pharmacy.

Officers from the Lafayette Police Department responded to the robbery around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the CVS located on 2 Shenandoah Dr. The teen handed a worker at the drop-off window a note demanding medicine.

Witnesses told officers the young suspect left the store and then provided them with a description of the teen.

Officers tried to track the suspect with a K-9; tips led them to a 14-year-old who matched the description of the robbery suspect. Officers arrested the teen near Greenbush Street and Chauncey Drive on a robbery charge.
