LAWRENCE, Ind. – Police in Lawrence are trying to track down a man who robbed a convenience store earlier this week.

According to the Lawrence Police Department, the man walked into Village Pantry at 5190 N. Franklin Rd. and robbed the store around 3 a.m. on Tuesday. He wore a blue hooded sweatshirt, pulling the hood over his head and using part of it to obscure the lower part of his face.

Police said the man didn’t display a weapon. However, he held his hand in his pocket and the clerk feared he was hiding a gun. The man left the store after the clerk handed over money from the register. Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect.

The same Village Pantry was held up Sunday, resulting in three arrests.
