LIST: Items not allowed at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway

SPEEDWAY, Ind. -- Hundreds of thousands of racing fans are expected to fill the Indianapolis Motor Speedway later this month for the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500.

Fans have grown accustomed to bringing in their own coolers and food, but there are some new and unique items that leaders at IMS ask you leave at home.

The following is a list of items that you should NOT bring:

  • Professional cameras
  • Drones
  • Scooters
  • Rollerblades
  • Hoverboards
  • Selfie sticks
  • Animals
  • Scaffolding
  • Stickers
  • Lasers
  • Flagpoles
