Lafayette police search for man who robbed Village Pantry

LAFAYATTE, Ind. – Police in Lafayette are searching for a man responsible for an armed robbery at a Marathon Village Pantry on Monday.

The robbery occurred around 2:45 a.m. at the Village Pantry located at 2450 Sagamore Parkway North. The clerk reported that a white male wearing a dark jacket and jeans displayed a handgun and demanded cash. The suspect then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No injuries were reported during the incident.  The investigation is ongoing.
