Areas of fog and mist linger this morning for only some parts of the state, as drier air is now beginning to work in. Clouds will slowly erode away this morning, as sunshine works in and temperatures steadily climb into the middle 60s this afternoon! Expect a much better day ahead for us and for the drivers out at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. We may have only one or two hiccups late afternoon, with an extremely isolated shower for western parts of Indiana! Otherwise, today looks great!

More sunshine on Thursday will mark the "best day" of the this week and temperatures will continue to trend warmer. Only a slight pullback in temperatures for Friday and Saturday with added cloud cover and LIMITED rain chances. Overall, a great weekend ahead, especially Sunday for Pole Day. Pattern change will drive our temperatures way up through early next week.
