INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --Good Sunday evening! It's been a very warm and dry day across central Indiana today. Temperatures checked in right at average. The highs were in the low 80s!

Tonight we'll fall to  the low 50s under a clear sky tonight. Winds will turn lighter as well with 3-7 mph out of the east, northeast.

Monday will bring plenty of sunshine as high pressure continues. Highs will be in the low 80s with winds shifting south 5-10 mph. Humidity won't be terribly bad as dew points are forecast in the 40s.

However, as we continue to develop a south wind through the week, moisture will continue to stream in from the Gulf of Mexico. Expect dew points in the 50s Tuesday and 60s through the remainder of the week. It will be a warm and humid week with highs in the 80s. A couple of upper-air disturbances will move in this week with a chance of t-storms arriving Tuesday night into Wednesday. Wednesday into Thursday more rain and possible t-storms arrive. The unsettled pattern will continue through next weekend. Right now, I've got a chance of t-storms in for Carb Day, Legend's Day and the Indy 500. Of course we will pin point whether this rain will be more scattered or a washout as time gets closer. Stay tuned! --Danielle Dozier
