New IndyGo transit center opening in June to cause several route changes

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– A new IndyGo transit center is opening next month and several stops and route changes will take place.

The Julia M. Carson Transit Center will open on June 26 on the corner of Washington Street and Delaware Street.

The center will be the new central transfer point for all IndyGo bus routes through downtown Indianapolis.

The new center brings new changes. Some stops will be eliminated and some will be relocated. There will also be several route changes. Signs will be posted on bus stop signs that are affected to alert riders to the change.
