Caleb Swanigan withdraws from NBA draft to return to Purdue

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – This afternoon, soon-to-be Purdue sophomore Caleb Swanigan, announced he has withdrawn his name from the NBA draft and will return to the Boilermakers for another season in a black and gold uniform.

Swanigan told ESPN’s Andy Katz in a text “I’m going back to school. I feel I’m only a 2nd round pick and I can do better than that. I love Purdue.”

Swanigan’s teammates expressed their joy in seeing one of the Big Ten’s best players return to West Lafayette.
