Man shot multiple times outside strip club

INDIANAPOLIS – Police are investigating after they say a man was shot multiple times outside a strip club early Thursday morning.

Officers were called to the 2300 block of West 16th Street shortly before 3 a.m. on reports of shots fired.

When they arrived on scene, officers say they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

According to investigators, it appears the victim was in an altercation with several other men when shots were fired.

Police say the victim was transported to Eskenazi with non-life threatening injuries.

Aggravated Assault detectives are reviewing surveillance video from the club, but have not released any suspect information at this time.
