SCHEDULE | Indy Lights Freedom 100 qualifying moved up because of weather

SPEEDWAY, Ind. — Indy Lights practice and qualifying highlight track activity Thursday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, but fans should expect some last-minute changes.

Drivers for the Indy Lights Freedom 100 cut their practice short at 10:30 a.m. because of incoming inclement weather. Storms were set to move into central Indiana around noon. That means qualifying also moved up to 11:15 a.m. under the revised schedule.

Gates opened to the public at 8 a.m. and were scheduled to close at 4 p.m. General admission tickets cost $15. And the IMS museum is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for fans 6 to 15 years old.

Here’s the complete schedule:

8 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Public Gates Open
9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.: Indy Lights Freedom 100 Practice
8 a.m. – 6 p.m.: Ticket Office Open
11:30 a.m.: Indy Lights Freedom 100 Qualifying
12:15 – 1 p.m.: Pit Stop Practice – Pit Lane
2:30 – 4:30 p.m.: Historic Race Car Laps
2:30 – 4 p.m.: Pit Stop Practice – Pit Lane
