Police arrest suspect in armed robbery of Fishers Subway

Update (June 10, 2016)– Police say the suspect, 31-year-old Jonathan Cope, is in custody and is facing armed robbery charges.

FISHERS, Ind. – Fishers police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Subway Wednesday night.

Police have set up a perimeter at the restaurant near 96th and Olio and are searching for the suspect.

Police say the suspect is a tall, thin, white male in their twenties to thirties, with dark hair. He was wearing a dark shirt and pants with a ski mask.

The suspect displayed a gun and is considered dangerous.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect fled on foot. Anyone with information regarding the robbery is asked to call 911.
