Happy Saturday everyone! High pressure is building over the region and it will remain the dominant weather feature to start off the work week.
High pressure means lots of sunshine and dry conditions for the next few days. An Air Quality Alert has also been issued for Marion and surrounding counties today through Monday. Young children, elderly and those with respiratory issues should limit their amount of time outdoors.
Temperatures will slowly warm up this weekend with increasing humidity making it feel stickier outside. Today will be the coolest of the next 3 with highs in the upper 80s.
Father's Day will be feeling humid and toastier as temperatures near 90º! It will be another sun filled day!
Summer begins at 6:34pm on Monday and it will really feel like summer! Temperatures will reach the low to mid 90s but factoring in the humidity it will feel like the mid to upper 90s!
The ridge of high pressure moves out of the region Monday night allowing a cold front to move in and return rain to the state. Temperatures will return to normal in the lower 80s Tuesday through the end of the week.
