Blue wine is headed to America.

Spanish vintner Gik is making a big splash in the wine world with a new, non-aged wine that’s blue in color.

The color comes from pigments in the skins of mixed red and white grapes. Bottles will soon be available in the U.S., making our wine choices a bit more patriotic– with red, white, and now, blue.

There’s no word when the wine will arrive in America, but Gik says it is “eyeing” a U.S. expansion.
