Better grab the umbrella and plan on a wet, stormy start this morning! Our first cluster of storms is on the move through Indiana right now! Expect heavy rains, some gusts and lightning. This area of rain and storms should be with us through early afternoon, as a warm front lifts through the state.

This wave is not our true severe weather threat...that should arrive by evening with an upper low dropping in from the Dakotas and a fast-moving jet stream. From 8 p.m. Wednesday and into the morning hours Thursday, storms could go severe with damaging winds and larger hail. Isolated tornadoes could be in the mix if the conditions are correct!

Storms will linger into Thursday morning and slowly taper off by the evening hours from north to south! Hotter, drier days to build in just in time for the weekend.
