Carmel police search for man who robbed gas station at gunpoint

CARMEL, Ind. – Police are searching for a man who robbed a Marathon gas station in Carmel at gunpoint.

The robbery occurred Saturday, June 25 at 1:03 a.m. at the location in the 9800 block of North Michigan Road. The suspect displayed a black handgun and demanded money.

He was described as being a black male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches and weighing around 150-175 lbs. He was wearing a dark brown hoodie sweatshirt, black pants and shoes and had a cloth covering his face. He was also wearing what the clerk described as gold-framed women’s sunglasses and an orange construction safety vest.
