INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing 53-year-old woman.

Police say Carina McDowell was last seen walking to a bus stop in the Riverside Park area around 12 p.m. Thursday.

Carina is 5’9”, 150 pounds, with long sandy brown hair, brown eyes and is in overall good health.

The woman’s friends and family joined together Sunday to trace her steps in the area she was seen in.

“I was really concerned because she was supposed to pick up her grand-kids from the day camp, she really loves her  grand-kids, and when she didn’t’ pick her grand-kids up, I knew there was a problem,” said Carina’s husband Frederick McDowell.

If you see Carina, you’re asked to call 911. If you have any information about McDowell’s disappearance, you’re asked to call 262-8477.
