Indianapolis emergency crews rescue several cars trapped in high water on east side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Heavy rain across Indianapolis is causing flooding in some areas. Rescue crews were called to the east side of Indianapolis around 9:20 a.m. after several cars became stuck in high water.

There were at least three different reports of cars stuck in water near the intersection of North Sherman Drive and Massachusetts Avenue.
