Police arrest suspect wanted for murder of Indianapolis man in April
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indianapolis police have arrested a man in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in April.
IMPD arrested Zechariah James, 30, of Indianapolis on Wednesday. He faces charges of murder and unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.
He’s accused of shooting and killing Antoan Johnson, 34, on April 11, 2016.
Johnson was shot around 4:30 a.m. in the 3800 block of Pleasant Run Parkway. Police were originally called to the area on a report of shots fired; they found Johnson dead from a gunshot wound.
