FISHERS, Ind. – A semi crashed and overturned on I-69 near Fishers early Thursday morning, spilling plywood on the road and shutting down lanes of the interstate.
The Fishers Fire Department said to expect closures on I-69 northbound for a few hours. The interstate is closed near the Campus Parkway/Southeastern Parkway exit. Southbound lanes are open but slow.
Drivers should exit at State Road 37 or 116th Street; the fire department said it would be best to avoid I-69 if possible.
The overturned semi left hundreds of plywood boards on the interstate. By 6:30 a.m., lanes were back open but drivers could expect delays if going northbound.
