Another dry start today but just like yesterday...more storms to develop in the hours ahead! I do think we will make it through the entire morning rush hour dry (until 9 a.m.), before chances begin to increase. Along with dry conditions, the temperatures are very warm and the air quite heavy with moisture. Here is your morning breakdown:

Currently, pockets of storms are moving across Missouri. These storms will move east and should begin to build in around lunch and remain with us (at times) for most of the daylight hours.

Storms could turn severe at times, with high, damaging winds and local flooding. In this atmosphere, rain totals in spots could easily top 2" in some spots. Storm chances will continue through Thursday, especially early before more stable air returns for the upcoming weekend.
