Woman arrested in case of missing Tippecanoe County teenager

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. – A teenager in Tippecanoe County was safely located Thursday morning, and a woman was arrested in the case.

The 17-year-old boy (whose name we are now omitting since he is a juvenile) was first reported missing by police on Wednesday afternoon.

Police say they safely located him on Thursday around 9:15 a.m.

The investigation led to the arrest of Dana Collins, 42, of Dayton, Indiana. Collins was arrested on allegations of false informing and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. She was booked into the Tippecanoe County Jail at 12:28 p.m. Her bond was set at $250, and she bonded out of jail as of 2:40 p.m.
