Happy Saturday everyone! Drier air moved in behind a cold front yesterday meaning we will enjoy low humidity today!
High pressure building into the region will clear out our morning clouds for lots of afternoon sunshine. Tomorrow will be mostly sunny as well as the high pressure moves off to the east and allows more heat and humidity to move in from the south.
We have very comfortable temperatures on the way today! Highs will remain slightly below normal in the low to mid 80s.
Sunday is looking dry but a little warmer as temperatures heat into the upper 80s and humidity begins to increase.
Our next system arrives late Sunday night into Monday bringing rain and thunderstorms to the state. Some of the storms Monday afternoon could be strong to severe.
The rain will move out Tuesday morning leaving a sunny afternoon as a ridge of high pressure settles into the region. Temperatures and humidity levels will be on the rise through the end of the week, returning to the low 90s.
