Education nonprofit in Marion broken into, vandalized

MARION, Ind.– A nonprofit educational organization in Marion has been broken into and vandalized in separate incidents this month.

The Center for Success provides children in disadvantaged areas with education and exposure to social interactions and activities. They serve 50 Marion students from early elementary through high school.

The break-in occurred around July 7. Suspects took laptops, snacks and wrapped presents.

Around July 19 and July 23, several of the building’s windows were broken out.

Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call 765-262-TIPS (8477) with any information. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
