INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – An Indiana University student raised thousands of dollars for Riley Hospital for Children when he biked around 133 miles from Warsaw to the Indianapolis hospital Wednesday.

The student, Michael Schmahl, says the ride was part of the 100 Day Challenge, which marks 100 days out from the IU Dance Marathon.

Michael originally set his fundraising goal at $500, with a benefactor matching that amount. But by the end of his ride, he had surpassed that goal, raising over $2,000.

Michael arrived at his destination between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. If you’d like to help him raise money for the Riley Hospital for Children, you can donate here.
