Officers search for man wanted for questioning in shooting of man on Wabash River

TECUMSEH, Ind.—Indiana conservation officers are looking for a man wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting of a 39-year-old man on Wabash River.

Search warrants were executed at the home of 67-year-old Steve Day after a K-9 officer located evidence in the area where the shooting took place. Police did not disclose what that evidence was.

Officers say 39-year-old Floyd Cheeseman was shot in the abdomen while in a boat with several other people on the Wabash River near Tecumseh, Indiana around 8 p.m. on July 23.
