A FEW STORMS AND PLENTY OF STEAM

Scattered storms are possible early Thursday evening through 12 AM.  The storms will produce locally heavy rainfall and possibly create brief flooding.  With high humidity lingering, heavy rain will be likely under thunderstorms.  The hazy air will turn foggy again later tonight.

Heavy rainfall and lightning will be the primary threat with the storms.  Lightning struck and downed a tree in Shelbyville earlier in the afternoon.
