Cooler temperatures the next few days with scattered rain
Happy Friday everyone! We have a very pleasant weekend on the way with seasonal temperatures and a few showers. There will be a lot of dry time over the weekend but some spotty showers will develop in the afternoon with Sunday looking to be the drier of the two days.
Patchy fog has once again developed throughout the state and it will lift out by 10 a.m. Yesterday we hit 88º but today is looking a little cooler with highs in the low to mid 80s.
Our pattern of scattered afternoon rain and storms will continue today. A lot of areas won’t see any precipitation but heavy downpours and localized flooding are possible with any storms.
Our brief cool down extends into the weekend but the 90s return by the middle of next week. Sunday and Monday are looking to be the driest of the next seven with afternoon storm chances returning Tuesday.
