Three senior citizens transported to hospital after vehicle crashes into south side Arby’s restaurant

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– Three people were injured Friday after a vehicle crashed through the dining area of an Arby’s restaurant on the south side.

Police were called to the scene around 2:45 p.m. The restaurant is located at 3314 South East Street.

A U-haul vehicle swiped the SUV, sending it into the side of the dining area.

There were ten customers inside at the time, along with ten employees. Officials said three people, two males ages 73 and 70, and a 70-year-old female, were transported to the hospital .

No other injuries were reported.

The Indianapolis Fire Department stabilized the structural integrity of the building.
