Humidity is increasing in the state and it will make for muggy to oppressive afternoon heat through the end of the work week.

Scattered showers and storms are possible this afternoon but a lot of areas will remain dry. Heavy downpours and lightning are the main threats with any thunderstorms.

The Indiana State Fair kicks off Friday and it is looking toasty! Temperatures will reach the lower 90s but it will feel close to 100 degrees at times. A front will be moving through during the afternoon sparking off showers and a few thunderstorms. Cooler and drier air moves in behind the front making for a comfortable weekend!
