IMPD investigating crash involving school bus on east side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indianapolis Metropolitan police are investigating after a Monday morning crash involving a school bus.

IMPD dispatchers said the crash happened around 7 a.m. at East 22nd Street and North Sherman Drive. The bus was carrying students from Indianapolis Public Schools.

An ambulance was called to check on the driver of the car. Dispatchers said it appeared the crash involved only minor injuries. Children on the bus were not hurt.
