LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Police in Lafayette identified two people found dead inside a home over the weekend.

Officers were called to the 3200 block of Chaucer Driver around 2:15 p.m. Saturday for a welfare check. Inside they found two people deceased. Police identified them Monday as Raymond Hastings, 46, and Monica Rhine, 35. Both are from Lafayette, police said.

Police said their investigation into the deaths continues. The Tippecanoe County Coroner’s Office was scheduled to perform autopsies on both bodies Monday to determine the cause and manner of death.

Those autopsies were expected to be completed Monday afternoon.

Police said Saturday that they weren’t looking for any suspects in connection with the case.
