INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – For the second week in a row, weather wreaked havoc on the high school football schedule in Central Indiana. Storms forced many games to be delayed or postponed until Saturday.

Ben Davis and Avon were able to take the field after an hour delay for the Football Friday Night game of the week.  The Giants cruised to a 38 to 7 win behind a couple of early touchdowns from Reese Taylor.

Columbus North snapped a four-game losing streak to crosstown rival Columbus East with a 30-13 victory.   The Bull Dogs’ Triston Perry threw for two touchdowns while Mitchell Burton ran for two more.

Lawrence Central, Decatur Central, Plainfield, Shelbyville and Roncalli are also week two winners.
