Remains hot and humid with afternoon storm chances

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --Good Sunday evening! A Flash Flood Warning continues for Muncie and portions of Delaware County until 1 a.m.  High water has led to water rescues in the city tonight where radar estimates three inches of rain fell in a short period of time. A few t-storms will continue to the south of Indy through the early overnight hours. Storms will continue to weaken and central Indiana will be dry to start Monday morning.

Monday morning will bring temperatures in the low 70s with patchy fog and haze. It will be another hot and humid day Monday with highs back in the upper 80s with dew points in the low 70s. Plan on a slight chance of an afternoon storm. Not everyone will see rain but those who do will experience brief heavy rain and lightning.

SKY - Forecast Tomorrow

Tuesday will favor a low-end chance of rain with Wednesday bringing a slightly higher chance as a front moves through the area. The pattern will finally break as we go into Thursday with cooler, drier air moving into central Indiana. Expect plenty of sunshine Thursday into the weekend with lows in the 50s and low 60s and highs in the low 80s. --Danielle Dozier
