INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. –A man authorities say was the leader of a gang behind multiple Indianapolis murders has bonded out of jail.

Richard Grundy III bonded out of jail in Marion County after a murder charge was dropped against him last month. He was then sent to Oldham County Jail in Texas to face drug charges. He bonded out of that jail for $8,005 Friday.

Metro police say they believe Grundy has made his way back to Indianapolis.

The alleged leader of the "Grundy Crew" will still face 10 other charges in a case that goes to trial in December in Indianapolis. That trial date was pushed back earlier this month.
