College students have returned for the fall semested, and even though many students thrive at school, others may struggle and even get homesick.

Kory Carey, with IUPUI, has some advice for what to do and what not to do when your child becomes homesick while away at college. You want to make sure you validate and normalize your child’s feelings, but you don’t want to encourage them to quit or come home.
