Football Friday Night: Week 3

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – For the first time in three weeks, the weather did not play a role on Football Friday Night.  Games kicked off as scheduled.

Ben Davis dominated the Football Friday Night game of the week.  The Giants cruised to an easy 48-14 win over Pike.  Ben Davis quarterback Reese Taylor turned in another big performance as the Giants improved to 3-0 on the season.  They host Center Grove next week.

Warren Central beat North Central 45-3, Center Grove topped Carmel 19-6 and Lawrence Central defeated township rival, Lawrence North 27-25 at Lucas Oil Stadium in other MIC action.

There were two other big rivalry games on the south side.  Roncalli held on for a 21-14 win over Chatard and Southport rolled to a 48-14 win over Perry Meridian.

Noblesville, Beech Grove, Brebeuf and Mt. Vernon were the other winners on Football Friday Night.
