INDIANAPOLIS–A car crashed into the front of a house on the city’s southeast side Sunday and an umbrella is apparently to blame. Around 6:15 p.m., Indianapolis fire and rescue crews were called to a report of a structure collapse in the 7900 block of Cross Willow Boulevard in the Willow Lakes subdivision.  That scene is near South Franklin Road and Brookville Road.

There were no injuries reported.  But the one-story house sustained an estimate $30,000 damage.

The driver told emergency crews an umbrella in the car got stuck in the gas pedal sending the car across the front lawn and into the front of the home.
