Man sentenced to 75 years in September 2016 murder on city’s northeast side

UPDATE (March 14, 2018)– Elijah Harris was found guilty of murder in this case in January and sentenced on March 14, 2018 to 75 years in the Department of Correction.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – A man was fatally shot on the near northeast side Monday evening.

Police were called to investigate the shooting at the New Bridge Apartments in 2400 block of Martin Luther Lane around 5 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found the unresponsive victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. EMS then arrived and pronounced him dead. Police identified the victim as 26-year-old Christopher Dullen.

Homicide detectives arrived on scene and begin canvassing the neighborhood for additional information.

Detectives have not yet released any suspect information, other than that two unknown males were seen running from the scene immediately following the shooting.
