Rain chances return to central Indiana on Wednesday

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --Good Monday afternoon! It's another gorgeous afternoon with temperatures in the 70s. The winds are light and the humidity is low. Heading out this evening? Plan on dry conditions.

Tonight will bring a clear sky with lows in the upper 50s and light south, southeast winds. Tuesday will feature a mostly sunny sky with highs in the low to mid-80s. We look to pick up some high clouds.

Rain chances will return to the area on Wednesday ahead and along a cold front. Some strong storms are possible Wednesday afternoon south of Indianapolis.

Rainfall amounts will generally be light with higher amounts in any t-storms. High pressure will briefly build in Thursday with dry weather expected. Rain and storm chances will once again return for the start of the weekend. --Danielle Dozier
