INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – A woman found unresponsive inside an Indianapolis home last week had been stabbed, police say.

Around noon on Friday, Sept. 9, Indianapolis Metropolitan police arrived at a home in the 400 block of Rybolt Avenue after the woman was found inside.

The woman, identified as Hallie Bullard, 26, was unresponsive. She was later pronounced dead at the scene, but investigators saw no immediate signs of trauma to the body.

An autopsy on Saturday showed that Bullard had been stabbed, and the Marion County Coroner’s Office ruled her death a homicide.
