Suspect wanted for prescription fraud

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a woman wanted for prescription fraud.

The woman allegedly conned an IUPUI student into letting her use her identification to obtain a fraudulent prescription for Oxycodone from a CVS Pharmacy on the near north side. The prescription was in the patient’s name “Robert Wilson,” which is possibly a made up name using a nurse practitioner’s DEA number.

The incident happened around 1:45 p.m. on Aug. 7 in the 1500 block of North Meridian Street.

The student told officers that the suspect had gray contacts in and possibly had tattoos.
